The health insurance network and coverage are great, but out of pocket costs are sky high no matter which plan you choose.
Really high. 1000 for a family with a 13000 deductible.
The insurance is costly but a least it's offered and meets the government rrequirement.
It's pricey for what you get... but it's set by TRS not so much by FWISD. For example, on a "middle of the road" plan, employee + child is about 600. For a high deductible plan, employee + child is about 300 per month. Add a spouse in and it skyrockets to at least 1000/months.
The health insurance is way too expensive.
