“They have really great health insurance”
“Lots of sick time, vacation is average until you've been there for a while”
“After the first year, you'll get 7% towards your 401k”
Good retirement and other benefits (once you qualify). Wish there was better parental leave policy.
Retirement plan investment from FH even if employee doesn't invest
Benefits were fine. Good salary, good health and dental coverage, good 401 K. No bonuses or pay raises though so bargain hard for the right start salary
Sick time is equal to about a month of work days, health benefits are amazing
Worst - out of state provider deductible of $300, need to wait for employer based retirement contribution for I think 2 years. Best - many health providers available across the country.
Up to 7% match for 401K after 1 year.
It would have been nice if the Orca Card was free, but it was only $15 per month, so no complaints from me.
Health insurance, car allowance, retirement plan, travel concierge, pet friendly workplace, vacation, paid time off
BEST: *403b - after 1 year of employment Fred Hutch automatically starts contributing 7% of your pay to your retirement plan. This is not a match (you don't even have to contribute at all) and there is no vesting period on their contributions. *Observes federal holidays *Accrue 12 vacation days in your first year plus 12 days of sick time *Benefits start the 1st day of the month after you're hired WORST: *No additional paid maternity/paternity leave other than standard FMLA *Parking in a garage onsite is $135/month. *Out-of-pocket contribution to benefits higher than many other Seattle companies.
Mediocre benefits package that is getting less competitive with increased competition for employees in South Lake Union. Matching contribution to 403(b) at 10% of a base portion of salary for faculty with increasing % for remainder above this base portion with time and rank. Decent insurance, generous leave / vacation (for faculty) though no sabbatical policy.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
