Benefits are good but fall behind Fannie. Compensation structure can very from person to person. Long time workers may be compensated differently from newer employees due to changing bonus and incentive policies. Flexible work arrangements are supported by the company but application will vary by department.
The benefits package here is outstanding.
Freddie has downgraded many of their benefits since I joined three years ago
health insurance, 401K, dental and vision insurance, retirement package, vacation, 6% company match on 401K, work from home options, dry cleaning on site, cafe's on site, gym on site, PTO, wellness incentives
Option to work from home
Good 401k match, healthcare & other perks. Vacation time is plentiful, on-site gym & health clinic.
15 holidays for each year.
The worst thing was the pension plan. A 10 year commitment at a $100k top salary netted you either $300 per month after retirement OR a one-time lump sum of less than $30,000. Not good.
Worst: used to offer vacation day flexibility, where one could buy the amount needed; now it is fixed
The health care insurance is too high and the total holiday days are not good enough.
