“very comprehensive and generous benefit package”
“Great company match and that adds up fast as you work a few years. Use to have pension as well which was an even better benefit ”
“Haven’t had the reason to use it. ”
They offer a first time homebuyers benefit where they will grant you up to $12,000 towards your purchase of your first home.
Great benefits matching 401 k
6% 401k match and an additional 2.5% at year end
Great parental leave and complete benefits package.
Great healthcare coverage, 401K + match.
401K plan is pretty good.
Good benefits 401k match, healthcare, etc. can't complain.
Good work/life balance , best for people with families and a gratifying work culture
Great 401k match, but it will take a year to get it. And if you want to adopt or get IVF, Freddie will give you $30K! Medical Insurance isn’t great for a company of this size and this profitable. The Cigna plan has higher premiums, mediocre coverage, higher deductibles/co-pays compared to bigger companies in the NoVa area. Just had bloodwork done for an annual physical and had to pay $250 for a blood test that wasn’t covered. Even the lab tech was saying Cigna is the only major plan that doesn’t cover it. Vision/Dental exists but it’s pretty bare bones. Make sure to negotiate a couple extra thousand dollars in your pay package. You’ll need it to break even.
The best benefits at Freddie Mac include yearly education benefit of $10,000 and first time homebuyer benefit of $10,000 ! This in addition to eLearning available to all employees. Could not ask for a more supportive company in terms of growth and development.
