Best thing in my group is a hands off management style. I can go in and get the job done without micromanagement. Worst thing: we do have some mediocre contributors that the hands off management is not policing.

401K matching is pretty good. Paid Time Off (PTO) is also fairly good. Good variety of options in the 401K plan for investment.

Coverage was great, going downhill fast. Dental coverage is not good. Very limited network and not a lot covered. Medial options not as good as they used to be and a lot more out of pocket. Good maternity leave offered.

Healthcare coverage was really excellent. Very comprehensive for a family. The work life balance was very good. They were _very_ stingy on equity and once you were pegged into a "salary-band" it was very hard to get any real raises.

Company did away with pension and stock options - except for executives. But other base benefits were competitive.
