Our PTO program allows eligible employees to use earned time off based on personal preference and varying needs, and may be used for vacation, holiday, sick and personal time. Accruals are based on an employee’s standard weekly work hours, position within the organization, and length of service with FMCNA. Eligible employees may also sell a portion of their PTO for cash four times per year.
Average time off (accrue 200 hrs every year), but must use PTO for holidays, so its not as much as it sounds. No separate holiday, vacation or sick days, just PTO.
Some people love it, some dislike it. I like it. I have lots of PTO, that I can choose which holidays I use it for. Sorry Columbus Day, Civil Rights Day, Veteran's Day, and President's Day, but I'm not taking PTO for you guys. I'll save it for a holiday, or to sell it.
Flexible time off for my location at least. The manager is amazing and believes in self care.
Excellent amount of PTO accrual every year
Accrual is very slow. PTO is separate from Sick Days. You have to use 3 days of PTO (even if you are having surgery) before you can use accrued sick days. PTO is supposed to be for "vacations" not medical issues.
They are generous with leave time.
Plenty of PTO but what upsets me is if I get sick, I have to use up vacation leave before I get ONE single sick day. That seems unfair
