We have decent benefits, but they are awful compared to just a few years ago. This company is steadily reducing pay and benefits packages for its employees and will continue to do so. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if healthcare and pay/bonus is important to you and you are qualified to work somewhere else. I have a pension and retiree healthcare benefits, but new hires do not.
Health savings account (HSA) is awesome. Company added a paid life insurance policy this year. PTO is 3-4 weeks per year for an experienced, mid-career management employee.
One positive I can say is that they do have a good benefits package.
The best thing was the health benefits. The benefits through the union contract were very affordable. We were also given a card for $500, as part of our bonus, that could be used toward prescriptions
