- 5 sick days - 7 PTO days - Vacation: - <7 years: 2 weeks - 7-15 years: 3 weeks - 23+ years: 4 weeks - Vision, Medical, & Dental - 401K: 50% match up to your 6% - ability to upsell on job for an added monetary incentive - Pension *Union job*
Average benefits. HSA option. Sick days must be used from PTO allotment (and days do not carry over).
Great health insurance coverage benefits
The medical insurance is lousy and the company blocks HRA spending accounts.
Prescription benefit was worse, 401K plan is the best
With the ongoing debt / subscriber losses, it isn't surprising that Ftr is saving more than a buck each year, as more and more cost of benefits shifts to employees...
3% match on 401K but there's gray area and appears to be less than that amount. Basic healthcare, dental, and vision. Cost is about the same as a Gold Plan for Affordable Healthcare. The cost is almost 3x the amount that we used to pay when working for Verizon. No bonuses for lower management employees. Vacation days are labeled as PTO days. So if you are hospitalized for an extended period you would exhaust your PTO days first before any short term or long term disability kicks in.
Paid VAc is good. Health benefits the worst.
The company offer standard insurance. No better or worse than any other company. It sucks that the rates go up every year and we see no offsetting compensation. They killed all of our bonus' and raises 2 years ago for 1st line management employees. I can promise you that everyone else gets theirs though. There is no work life balance unless you demand the it. They will try to force you to work unlimited hours to support horrible projects. They try to make you give up your night and weekends to support the "Business". They do have a "Work from Home" Policy, but it is only on Paper. They rarely let you use it unless you are working on some major project that they deem worthy. The ONLY reason I am still hear is because of the Vacation time I have earned after 20 years. I couldn't go anywhere and get the time off that I have here.
Worst: Premium Co pay is several $$$ hundred a month. Best: 20 PTO/Sick/Vacation days during the first year.
