Employees can take up to 12 weeks for maternity or paternity leave.  Up to 6 of those weeks are paid for by FrontPoint, at a rate of 50-60% of your normal pay.

    This "benefit" is what is covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) granted to all U.S. employees. The 6 weeks paid are only for females who purchase supplemental short term disability, which Frontpoint does not pay into -- it's 100% employee-paid, and has to be purchased at least 10 months prior to the birth of the child.
