The health insurance is really good and the occasional working from home is a plus.
The overall package is very good, flexible time off, parental leave, and decent healthcare. Healthcare seems to be on trend with multiple high deductible options with a heath reimbursement account and out of pocket maximums. Manageable.
Beyond terrible health coverage. Expect to pay almost 20k if you are having a baby. The only thing that is free is the "annual free checkups" which is pretty much standard across all plans. If you plan on seeing your doctor outside the one annual checkup, you will pay hundreds just to see a doctor. My recommendation is unless you're dying, avoid seeing doctors under GE's plan.

As an Intern you get your rent and utilities paid for but health insurance is not offered.
Healthcare coverage is really expensive and less complete compared to other jobs I've had. We pay a lot out of pocket.
