The company match was reasonable when I was there.
It is a standard plan
I am unsure as I was only an intern. I did not receive a benefits package. Although I hear that the benefits package for full time employees is good.
Gives you 3% off the bat (no contributions necessary), matches the next 3%, then matches the next 2% at 50%. So, you contribute 8%, and they throw in another 7%. Knocking a star off because they now HOLD ON to their part of the contributions the entire year, then invest it in December (they get all the interest that year).
company pay or contribute 7% if you put down 7% ... note 7% is match. if you put down more than 8% still company will contribute 7%
The match is a little better than average (half of your contribution from 4% to 8%).
company will match your contributions up to 8% of your pay. fidelity is the company they use for their retirement plan.
the four 0 one retirement package is on the average scale with all of the other employers who do not offer pensions
New employees get 50% match on first 8% of contribution. This used to be 50% up to 7% (but those employees are pension eligible. Available options within the 401(k) are not great - have traditionally underperformed. Poor funds are periodically replaced. Some limitations for folks with salaries over $120k potentially capping contributions below IRS limits.
I think it is fine
