Hi everyone, I need help choosing between two offers. First one is with GE Power on their FMP program, base of 70K + 5k sign on. Second one is with Raytheon Technologies on their FLDP, 70K base + 5K sign on as well. I don’t know how worried I should be about GE’s recent news of splitting. My long-term goal is to get a T25 MBA and go to Business Development/Corporate Strategy. I appreciate any help in advance!
Company Perks and 401k. Work Culture is amazing
Excellent benefits great work environment
Really good work/life balance, permissive vacation and paternal leave! Medical benefits are so/so.
Health/dental/vision are expensive and terrible, high copays 401K up to 4% company match Bonus percentage for plebs vary from 10% to 15% but have been almost null due to poor company performance in the last years Flexible wfh
Previous vacation days earned was changed to permissive time off, those retiring with long service lost all their acrued time off prior departure, saving the company millions
There is unlimited time off, but only benefits you if you can actually take the time off work. Usually too many critical tasks to be completed to make any meaningful time off possible.
