Best - very diverse. It takes 6 years to be 100% vested
Fair benefits - employee contributions are required but not too bad.
They do not match your 401K contributions, but they do profit sharing at the end of each year.
You get seventeen days of vacation to start. 401k is self sponsored. Health insurance is very good. Dental insurance is good. Vision insurance is sub-par.
Vacation accrual time is great; however, it is lumped with sick leave. Wish there were more health benefit options than the one offered.
For a medium-sized employer, GEI offers outstanding benefits! I joined GEI after coming from a very large employer who had outstanding benefits. It was nice to not experience a material decrease in the benefits I could select from at GEI. In fact, my PTO accrual increased at GEI. GEI offers the best of both worlds - benefits that rival large employers, but the positive work environment and culture of a medium-sized company.
The insurance plans are quite thorough, however, the price when up and the deductible went up this year. It is completely understandable that prices go up, but a little frustrating at the same time.
GEI Consultants offers excellent medical, dental, vision, life, and wellness benefits; in addition to 401(k). The vacation accrual is especially generous. Only wished that medical had more options to choose from.
Best-health savings account with excellent employer contribution. Worst - high deductible- plan on a year to build enough savings in health savings account to avoid high out of pocket
