    Time off is one of the areas that is an awesome benefit. For a new person by the time you complete one full year you will get 2 weeks vacation, 1 week PTO and 4 days floating holidays and 6 sick days. When it comes to time off, they are GREAT!

    GM contributes 1000 per year to employee for insurance Employees are given Volunteer time off however, managers will decide how you use them, even if volunteer meets the requirments according to HR. Employees are forced to use some as teambuilding events.

    Insurance it’s good. Clinic onsite makes it easy for a prescriptions or anything minor. You have 2 different options of insurance plans as well as with vision and dental

    The best thing is the company car program for senior employees. The 401k match does not vest for a few years depending on your seniority.

    GMF Self-Funds their claims, using Cigna Open Access for benefit and claim administration. Over all in this day in age, the benefits package is primo. High deductibles, but that's with most all employers now. They provide a wellness credit which encourages healthy habits,. Actually, I personally think that's the component that should be carried onto the AFA or TrumpCare or whatever we end up with in the public health arena to make our country healthies, but I digress - has nothing to do with GMF. I consider a hidden benefit they don't even advertise. If you have an electric (plug-in) vehicle, they provide you free electricity you can charge while you're working. That's like free gas, folks. Great company - they really care about their culture - very sensitive to making sure its healthy and that employees stay engaged. They could easily add pre-paid legal at no expense to them, but they haven't, which seems a little odd to me given the sophistication of the benefits package in place.
