Very easy going with scheduling and hours, especially for someone going to school, they helped me balance everything!
The location I worked at was pretty flexible with the hours. You could ask for a week or so off and she usually granted it if you asked off early enough. I was told by another employee it's best to lie on why and just say you're having a family reunion just to guarantee the approval.
The one good quality is at my store I have a flexible schedule to an extent, I can't work more than a certain number of hours so.
If I needed a day off 9 out of 10 times I could get it even with late notice, most co-workers are willing to switch and management is easy going about it with two weeks notice.
If theres a reason you couldnt work the desired shifts, the manager is more than willing to make the schedule flexible to help you out.
You get to write the schedule, however you do have to close twice a week and have to be on mandatory conference calls twice a week in the morning, plus open the days of bank deposits so in reality your schedule is half way not up to what you need.
Hours were flexible depending on personal issues or schooling that arose as well as training weekends for reservists and active duty members.
This is probably the number one benefit is the flexible hours. But come on.... is that really a benefit for a part time person or just part of the job?
they worked with me with hours
No guarantee of minimum hours. A person can't budget or plan their lives with their schedule up in the air, week to week.
