not eligible for benefits as I worked as a part time employee.
Health insurance is mediocre at best. High deductible. But my franchisee pays in half which is helpful. Vacation days are limited as well as sick days.
For full time manager or assistant manager only. paid vacation (really flexible) you get to choose your own health plan. my only complain is that you have to enroll every year instead of keeping you enrolled. if you miss deadline... no coverage.
Paid time off, paid Vacation, Paid sick leave, and health insurance were simply the best perks of this job
the employee discount was nice, along with the downtime to work on homework. worst things are the limited amount of customer that come in and the low hourly pay, commision is only for select items and customers want sample of the items you make money on which naturally is unavailable
The benefits could be better. They give you options to pick from so you are able to get a custom benefit package. They offer medical, dental and vision.
They have a expensive health insurance that it doesn't cover a lot of things. They don't have pension plan either. If you're full-time the only you can get is insurance. They don't have other benefits.
The best thing about working at GNC is not so much the compensation but rather the experience if you like interacting with people. Minimum wage but commision is good.
There is not really a benefits package for a sales associate because they intentionally make you work part time. However I am this may have changed, and I am sure there is something in place for full time managers.
They give us all these partnership sales; like 6-7k off of a BMW but pay double minimum wage so.... COPAY Is outrageous; benefits are not that beneficial
