GP offered a comprehensive health and benefits package with multiple options.
Work from home is definitely the best
Nothing really to note here. It seems typical with the benefits package so nothing to really say!
Benefits were not what they promised.
The good news is I got 24 days of vacation as an experienced professional hire. The surprising thing is the company only recognizes 5 holidays, so I have to burn 6 days just to be on parity with the standard 11 holidays recognized in the USA.
nothing, most of these are terrible comparatively.
The health insurance plan was a life-saver....I needed major surgery and had the coverage I needed. (just past the 12 month min for surgery!)
GP Strategies offers different programs for learning and development.
PTO is standard - 14 days increases to 19 days at 5 yrs. Health plan is a choice of high deductible or traditional, but you pay for it. Disability, life insurance, etc is all offered but the cost is deducted from your check. 401k is standard, 40% match of first 7% but not guaranteed.
401K and PTO Benefits are pretty good especially the longer you are with GP. I do not appreciate the rising costs for our medical plans every year, not to mention I can never meet the deductible so always paying out of pocket anyways. High costs plus high out of pocket amounts isn't a good combo.
