A competitive amount of PTO was offered.

Vacations were automatic. You weren't even allowed to put in time on vacation unless you got supervisory approval. Paid time off was very simple to ask and you'll receive

The amount of PTO is generous, and there is an option to carry over excess PTO at the end of the year, or get paid out for it.
Your sick time and vacation time are one and the same, if you get sick, there goes your vacation time. If you do get sick or need extra vacation time, you can "borrow" time up to a certain number of hours. It takes 5 years to get extra time off, even if you enter as a senior person. There are 10 paid holidays. That's better than some employers.
