Many company holidays are spent working to keep up with the demands of the position
Tons of PTO and flexibility - 10 days vacation, 10 days personal/sick days, standard holidays off (long weekends for 4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc), and an added 5+ days off for Christmas and New Years. Comes out to 25 days overall, although you can only spend 10 as vacation where you see fit. Biggest issue is that they've started trimming and cutting this. It's still generous but if they keep trimming it then it will no longer offset the low pay.
Great vacation and time off plan, very generous. Also give employees paid volunteer days to be used throughout the year which is a really nice added bonus to an already great PTO plan.
The paid tie off is outstanding!
The HR recruiting person lied to me at the time I was brought on and told me that every long weekend employees would get the Friday off, for example, if the Monday was a holiday, which is not true. As opposed to other agencies, you don't get every holiday off like President's day, (I'm not sure if I'm being accurate on that one) but the point is that while your friends at other agencies get a long weekend here you only get the major ones off.
Summer Fridays (7 fridays off in the summer) and very generous paid holidays and vacation days (2 weeks standard & after 5 years you get 3 weeks off)
Very generous here because promotions and salary raises were frozen.
