    match isn't until you have a full 5 years with the company

    Thank you for your response. You are eligible for the company match after your first year with the company. Gallagher's matching dollars are deposited on an annual basis.

    Company does not deposit any match dollars until after the beginning of the FOLLOWING year. So any employee that has a 401k during one year who leaves before the end of January the following year will not get a match at all.

    4-year vesting schedule - minimal match accumulates and paid at the end of the year.

    We have a 5 year vesting schedule, with a 5% dollar for dollar match of eligible earnings.

    AJG recently changed employer match to require employees to work through 12/31 to be eligible for match. That means if your position is eliminated, you are terminated or you resign on 12/25 you will not receive the employer match
