The benefits package is very good overall. They are very flexible with asking for time off. The only thing I wish they currently offered is some level of matching 401k.
Employee Contribution amounts have increased. Gym reimbursement benefit revoked.
Flexible time off and remote work options.
Great Flexible PTO policy, however due to lack of space I'm not sure why they don't transition to a more flexible remote work policy especially due to content of my work being offsite and remote anyways.
Unlimited PTO. Expensive healthcare. Non-matching 401k.
Open PTO, flexible hours, work life balance
Horrible Benefits package. A family of 4 had me coming out of pocket $350/month. No 401k, no bonuses for regular employees (Directors and higher did). No stock options, no paid lunches, we had to come out of our own pocket for a team outing.
Fantastic insurance plans are available far below market price.
Best - flexible time off policy was great , good choice of health care options Needs improvement - no 401K matching, very hard to access gym memberships, transport assistance etc.
While Galvanize offers a retirement plan, they don't contribute to it (and don't seem to have plans to do so in the future). Depending on the team, there can be a lot of flexibility around time off and working from home. The maternity/paternity policy is probably the best feature, definitely progressive! Overall, the benefits package is fine/good but could be better.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
