“Take online tests about products and classes to receive up to 50% off certain products.”
“Standard time accrued and PTO benefits from what I can tell.”
“Standard benefits based on part time work status.”
Gander Mountain has an incredible employee discount program. They employ their discount program in a very efficient way. They have a website that offers specific brand based discounts upon completion of a short lesson and quiz assessment to qualify for the discount program of that brand.
Vision and dental plans were subpar, PTO started as soon as training was completed acrewing 3.4 hours per pay period
Hsa option ia nice. Unlike any other retailer I've worked for!
Good: 30% off Gander Mtn products, 20% off rest Minus firearms Free use of archery range, $0 FFL transfer, free use of archery tools, Neutral: Most benefits start 0.5/1yr after start date. Bad: No discount on firearms unlike Academy. Overall high prices so discount only helps a bit anyways
Best thing is the 401-K Plan that they match 100% on the first 3% and 50% on the next 2%.
Employee discounts through 3point5 and vendor appreciation are great
Very little time off for maternity leave. No Stock options and the company does not bonus because they move the target on you mid way through the year.
The health insurance was phenomenal. I picked the middle package and i never had to pay anything to go to doctors. Prescriptions were cheap as well. I miss it. They did have a 401k plan that was awesome, but i never signed up because ive never done a 401k before and no one there could help me understand it.
Poor options for 401k with limited matching.
If you were only part time, you only received paid time off hours after one year of employment. Similar policy for 401 K plan. Also you had to work so many hours to receive tuition reimbursement.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
