    We did get good amount of vacation days depending on your number of years of service

    You had to fight to get time off. As a journalist working for a daily pub that can be hard. They didn't account for seniority. At all.

    It's always nice to have vacation and paid time off, as well as paid holidays, but with Gannett, it's a huge struggle to get your vacation days approved (especially in the summer when everyone wants to travel/vacation.)
