Time is limited to a couple of weeks until around the 8 year mark. At the time this was written, the company was providing a small 401k match (about 1.5%). Healthcare benefits fairly standard.
The best thing about the benefits package is that they still offer a 401 K match of 25 cents on the dollar
Company provides a match on the 401 k plan. This is pretty rare in this day and age. It is a comprehensive benefit plan that is quite competitive.
Compared to other companies that I have acquaintances work for with less experience and doing almost the same job, they pay less in insurance as well as getting more paid sick and vacation time.
Typical benefits package offered by parent company, GateHouse Media. Must wait until the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment for medical insurance to begin.
The health benefits are pretty good, better than many in the industry. And there is a match to the 401k. The worst is the health care flexible spending. The company that manages it makes it extremely difficult to spend your money, imposing more paperwork and red tape than other programs.
Decent benefits for full-time employees. 2 weeks vacation, health insurance options, dental. Can't recall if there was a 401K but I don't remember being offered one. Occasional office perks like lunch or ice cream.
The medical, dental and vision plans are decent plans at relatively reasonable rates. The company pays for STD, LTD, basic life and basic AD&D and allows for purchase of additional life and AD&D. Small match on 401k.
The best part was that when they purchase out another company they carry over your years of service to determine the vacation and sick pay.
Expensive, in my opinion. But they contribute to an HSA, which is better than nothing.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
