In some divisions, 60-80% of the employees there are working entirely on Contract. Amongst these folks, the FTE earn upwards of 3 weeks paid vacation a year, are found in the office on average between 9:30 and 3:45 for 4 days or less per week while qualifying for 6 week sabbaticals every 5 years. Between all the fully catered meetings, the concerts and the Ho-Ho's, it is a wonder anything gets done. It is a good thing they have all these contractors available to handle everything. Well, almost. Everything but the endless discussions.
Generous, Sabbatical ever 6 years
Sick days are on the honor system unless it's more than a certain number of days. Sabbatical is wonderful benefit & good retention strategy. But don't like having my vacation limited to 3 weeks on all other years.
very nice! can also get sabbatical after 6 years of service
3 weeks vacation for all employees per year plus week off between Christmas and New Years. Six week sabbatical earned with every six years of employment.
generous, especially sabbaticals every 6 years!!!
The sabbatical allowed my wife and I make up lost time to travel - Asia, Hawaii, and Vegas in 6 weeks
also get sabbatical of 6 weeks every 6 years
Great sabbatical option. Maybe include in lieu of sabbatical and a payout cash value of sabbatical. Increase vacation time base on time with company.
I will agree with the comment that the maternity leave is terrible. 6 or 8 weeks fully paid depending on if you have a c-section, then another 6 paid as much as required by the state where you live (which is usually zero), then another 6 unpaid. So up to 18 weeks total after the birth (20 weeks if a c-section). A generous amount of time off, but mostly on your own dime. You can also go out on leave fully paid 4 weeks before your due date, but that time cannot be shifted to after the birth. The back-up care for children through Bright Horizons is a nice family-friendly benefit though.
