Coverage is provided by the company. After-tax benefits begin after 13 consecutive weeks of disability with a benefit of 50% of base pay with a maximum monthly benefit of $20,000 subject to the Plan Schedule. To supplement this monthly benefit, employees have the option to share in the LTD cost and elect a total benefit of 60% of base pay with a maximum monthly benefit of $24,000 subject to the Plan Schedule.
Very good option and a nice addition to a great overall package.
