Good 401k package, decent vacation with good accruement rates as you gain more time with the company. Lots of other nice perks to like company paid benefits which include long term disability, life insurance, education and training, etc
Good health care at a decent cost. I really enjoyed the JIFF app and earning rewards based on my steps and food.
Low salary, but benefits include 401K match, discount programs.
The benefits are pretty standard. Healthcare is sub par. It is good idea to negotiate vacation package upfront.
It's very expensive and if you quit or get fired you're still enrolled in the benefit package. So basically you're stuck after the 30 days are over if you're full time.
Good selection of benefits to choose from.
There are many benefits available from GDIT, however some including the high deductible insurance plan is very expensive.
Terrible HSA benefits. I would give it a 0 if I could.
Benefits are average, not bad but not great. Like anything else, you pay for what you get, but even at the top end there high deductions.
If you're working for GDIT as a government contractor, only apply here if you're desperate for a job as their benefits are pretty sub-par. After one year, you can accrue 1 week of vacation time and 1 week of personal time (sick leave?). That's two weeks total paid time off - well below the industry standard of 2 weeks vacation + sick leave. They don't make up for this in other areas either - no working from home, mediocre healthcare plans (they say they offer a variety of options, but they're all high deductible plans). In the past, they've bid for other government contracts in Fort Detrick and cut salaries by 30%. Don't expect to be treated fairly either. If the site closes for inclement weather, you can fully expect to have to make the time up or use your vacation time while your government civilian co-workers get paid for the time off. GDIT is not the best place to work - there are tons of better options out there.
