Great 401k plan. Bonus is based on performance and profit sharing. If GM has a poor year, do not expect a large bonus at the end. Very good medical and dental plan along with other benefits. Do not expect a large discount on GM car purchases. Anyone that even knows a GM employee (family, neighbor, kids play together, meet at a bar, etc) can receive the same discount. Basically, if you live in Michigan dealers expect you to have some kind of discount walking through the door.
You will get 15 days of vacation then after working for 3 years they will give you 20 days.
I would not know the benefit package of General Motors as I was a 3rd party contract employee through a hiring agency.
Worst thing I can say is that Mat Leave is really short and Pat leave isn't a thing.
Health Care cost is extremely high.

Best thing is 8% 401k contribution that they have, however they will take this back if you leave the company before 3 years.
good 401k with matching up to 4%
401k matching is the only good benefit. No paternal leave.
