So supportive. When one of my co-workers had his baby, he took the time off to help his wife and be with the baby. Another co-worker adopted a newborn baby and the company allowed her to take maternity leave to help the new addition to the family acclimate to the new environment.
What you would expect from most companies with LOA for maternity.
I did not need this, but it is offered for both parents.
I had multiple leaves and everything went smoothly. You do have to use sick and vacation time though.
AFLAC is your only option
A full three months leave which is typical with most companies. They will usually get a PRN to fill-in for your time
I would not be eligible for this particular benefit, however, employees who have utilized the benefits returned without incident or any negative feedback.
Genesis offers Aflac, a coworker told me the plans offered are pricey considering you have to wait 2 weeks and Genesis require you to use all your vacation and sick time leaving you with nothing when you come back from maternity leave, hopefully your newborn is ever sick
You will NOT have a permanent position when you come back. You will now be a "floater" driving from building to building everyday trying to get hours.
