Health Insurance is BCBS, Aetna for dental, 401K offered, You're given vacation, personal, and sick time
The worst thing about the benefits at Genesis is that even if you have been here longer than a year they say they offer 401K but there is no where to sign up and they forget about it.
They do not match 401.
Have to accept benefits plan in order to have paid time off
They advertise 401K matching, but have not matched for at least 6 years. The medical benefits are very expensive.
This company has very high insurance premiums and NO 401K match!!
Work from options but this was made available my manager only, it's not a company wide offered perk. Health insurance was very poor catastrophic plans with one actual decent "gold" plan being the cost of gold itself. If you don't want to see a large portion of your paycheck, you can cover your family.
they offer good health benefits, and its easy to accrue paid time off
*401k (unmatched) *Various health insurances as well as dental and vision coverage *Perks (e.g., 25% discount on phone bill for certain provider) *Paid holidays (can receive double pay if working a Thanksgiving or Christmas) *2-4 weeks PTO (depending on # years worked *Vacation buy-back (if you can't use up all of your time, you can sell some and receive it in your next paycheck). *Company sponsored CEUs and other learning opportunities to maintain your license and grow professionally (free)
They give certain full-time employees NO room to take time off or have any benefits because they are too reliant on some employees, while they let their FRIENDS do less work or take time off frequently. That is the name of the game. When I was reviewing my coworkers FT healthcare enrollment activities, it was a headache of a step-by-step process to go through to reach a certain number of points in order to receive the benefit in the FIRST PLACE.
