Genova Diagnostics offers 2 types of paid time off to employees working at least 20 hours weekly. Employees working less than 20 hours per week are not eligible for paid time off.
Employees are allowed to take paid personal days after six months of active employment. Those working more than 30 hours per week receive a total of 5 personal days per year. Employees working 20 – 29 hours weekly receive 2.5 days per year.
Genova Diagnostics accrues vacation on an "earn as you work" basis, meaning that employees receive a predetermined number of hours per pay period which is based upon their years of service. Full-time employees who have been employed 0-5 years receive 3.08 hours a pay period, equal to 2 weeks (80 hours) per year. Part-time employees working 20-29 hours per week will receive 1.54 hours a pay period, equal to 1 week (40 hours) per year.
standard US holidays plus 2 weeks for employees under 5 years. one week for personal days, its you take it or leave it.
Slow accrual. Use it or loss it PTO (resets after 1 year).
Vacation time rolls over and PTO increases with longevity.
