I wasn't really there for a long enough time to earn benefits such as health insurance, vacation time, or even time off. However in the few months that I did work there and from talking to other employees, I realized that they had to work a while in order to get off days
They will attempt to pay you $100 in ode to decline the benefits
PTO, time and a half over time and holidays, free meal per shift, offers health insurance and 401k
Full benefit program even for part timers
Standart benefit package . Each hour that you work over normal 40 hours a week would be paid in One-and-a-half rate.
Health insurance for hourly workers is about 1/3 of entire check bi weekly. Days off are paid if you have vacation available. Sick time is also paid up to 48 hours.
best : 401K is good Bad: Wish they had kaiser and medical insurance is expensive :(
Starting a 401K plan while young will help you when you're older but to my knowledge Ghirardelli does not provide this.
Test all the chocolates, one free menu item per shift, fun environment, generous 401k, half off for employees when purchasing
Amazingly generous PTO and paid holiday policy. Health care choices are very limited. They don't offer Kaiser so going back to a PPO plan felt like going back to the dark ages. The salaries are OK. Close to market rate but I was disappointed that they wouldn't negotiate on salary. They just flat out said "no", which really surprised me. The 401K plan is outstanding. Great fund choices and generous company match. The company is very generous with things like Christmas parties, team lunches and other small perks, which is a nice touch.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
