Working at Gilead is not just a job; it’s a shared passion for addressing unmet medical needs for patients facing life-threatening diseases around the world. At Gilead, being here matters and we are committed to providing employees with a competitive Total Rewards package to support you in managing your overall health and financial well-being.
Our Total Rewards program includes competitive base salary and incentive compensation, stock awards, an employee stock purchase plan, health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) savings plan with a company match that vests immediately, and other valuable benefits, such as paid time off and wellness programs.
Linking pay to company and individual performance is central to Gilead's continued success. Our Total Rewards program allows you to see your compensation increase when you and the company perform well.
The generous benefits are sometimes difficult to connect with in terms of determining eligibility or enrollment processes. HR is always responsive if you reach out, in my experience.
12k 401k match, 10 sick days, 15 vacation days, new flexible work remote policy, fantastic benefits. Best - 401k Worst - none
4 weeks vacation (5 after 5 years), excellent health insurance
Time off. Great cafeterias on campus
Benefits are minimal and reserved for senior management. Excuses for taking away employee benefits from those other then senior was the transition the facility was going through.
10k matching 401k is great. Minimal WFH options.
Great and affordable health insurance packages
Great 401K package. The medical and dental package are about the same compare to previous company. The re-location package that I received was very generous.
401k match; wfh is not flexible; RSU is not very generous
Best: Up to 10K match for 401K, on-site gym, commuter bus, subsidized cafeteria Worst: Stock options (RSUs) vest every quarter, not every month; additional vacation accrual after every 5 years, starts at 3 weeks and maxes at 5 weeks per year
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
