When it comes to Total Rewards, our philosophy is to provide competitive and transparent programs to hire, retain and motivate amazing people. We lead with four core principles:
Health & Wellbeing
In the U.S., we cover 100% of employee premiums for medical, dental and vision coverage and 80% for their partner and/or dependents through a variety of plan options. After 48 months of continuous service, Glassdoor will assume 100% of the co-share premium cost for employees and dependents. We also offer a HSA, FSA, an Employee Assistance Program for counseling and advice, and cover basic life insurance plus short and long-term disability.
Paid Time Off
In the U.S. and Canada, we offer Open Paid Time Off, plus 15 paid holidays, 3 paid volunteer days, and comprehensive parental leave that includes 20 weeks of 100% paid time off for birthing parents and 12 weeks of 100% paid time off for non-birthing parents. We also offer Emergency Care Leave, providing up to 6 weeks of 100% paid time off to care for a gravely ill loved one.
In the U.S., we offer a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match (up to $5,000/year) that starts and vests immediately. We also distribute a one-time Work From Home allowance of $500 paid into your first Glassdoor paycheck, plus an additional $100/month as cell phone and internet allowance.
We offer a mental health provider (Modern Health) to support with personal and professional development, a fertility provider (Carrot Fertility) for inclusive fertility and family-forming benefits and pregnancy support, and a wellness platform (ClassPass, NEOU) that offers unlimited free on-demand workout classes.

“Best thing is the improved health benefits for 2022 including fertility benefits from www.get-carrot.com.”
“There is unlimited time off as well as all major holidays. Not much else to say there. As good as it gets. ”
“Having free lunch and snacks is hugely helpful. ”
Very good and comprehensive benefits. Dramatically improved and expanded for 2022 compared to previous years.
Glassdoor had a really awesome benefits package. If you're only looking for coverage for yourself it's free. Doesn't get any better than that.
I'm so very grateful for Glassdoor's benefits package. They regularly review their offering to ensure competitiveness. Most recently, they've offered to fully cover Health insurance for my whole family - note that you need to work at GD for four consecutive years for this benefit to take effect.
Health insurance is free! Unlimited PTO. I wish you can increase life insurance more.
Data & Analytics Consultants
Hey Guys. Hoping to get some advice here. I am currently a Senior Manager at CapTech with 12 YOE, all in consulting. I have been with CapTech specifically for 7 years doing a bunch of different things from developing ETL pipelines to analytics and dashboarding. My most recent role was more in product analytics where I feel like I have really grown from ‘just a BI developer’ to a data product owner like role. Right now my base is at 130K. Looking at data on Glassdoor this seems low. Thoughts?
Anyone here that currently works or used used work for Sia Partners , could provide some information about them. Pay, culture, bonuses and etc. I gone through the glassdoor information already would like to get more context for people here and also see what to ask for base salary and signing bonus. I have 10 YOE , live in Houston and mainly have experience in the energy side of consulting.
Consulting Exit Opportunities
Has anyone interviewed for a data specialist or product development position at YipitData? Looked over Glassdoor and saw there is a substantial take home assessment. I wanted to see if anyone could verify and share their experience. Thank you!
They are really great benefits!
Glassdoor offers a very comprehensive benefits package that makes you feel they truly lead as a people-first organization. They offer great health benefits (including monetary support for fertility), unlimited PTO, Parental Leave, 401k matching, and cell-phone stipend. During COVID, Glassdoor supported their employees with company days off, money to help build an at-home office and other small perks that showed support during the pandemic. Thank you, GD for all of the support. You have done an incredible job listening and supporting your people, thank you.
Great health insurance and PTO policy.
100% covered insurance plans for the employee. Pretty good coverage for employee's family. $3k 401k match every year for every employee at a 50% rate of what the employee puts in. Stock options that vest over 4 years. Unlimited PTO policy for most employees.
Best thing is the free health care. Worst thing is maternity leave.
It was a good benefit package
