Viad believes in offering benefits to help lead a healthy life and to encourage our employees to be smart healthcare consumers. GES offers a choice of four comprehensive medical plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona.
The medical plan options include two different plan types:
Super expensive and not great coverage, the company really doesn't pick up much.
They have a career development program and a tuition reimbursement program that would help in the long run if you want to get extra education for a higher position.
Great Coverage; can see whoever I want.
It was not great for someone who needed it right away. was hoping that I would be able to have benefits sooner.
It is pretty average. Nothing to make is special or outstanding.
GES is moving in a great direction. Allowing the NY agents to work remotely would boost morale in winter months
It's a good insurance company, plans are just ridiculously high. I'm not sure how much the actual discount is, they do offer free flu shots, help to quit smoking, exc without being a member!
Again - lots of plans to choose from ranging from full-service, to HRA to HSA. Also offer a dependent care reimbursement program
High deductibles. Additional costs too high to add family members. For a large company, health insurance costs fairly high.
I believe their coverage is typical of a non tech related company of their size. It has been slipping in recent years wiht less coverage and more cost to the employee
