So many benefits, generous leave policy, amazing organization.
The leave policy is so-so. You get a nice chunk of days to use and it is strongly encouraged to use them up each year which is awesome! BUT there's no sick leave. If you're sick, it's expected that you just work from home. If it's really bad you have to use a vacation day which is a bummer. Also the holiday paid leave is pretty slim compared to other places to work in DC--expect to work holidays that a lot of other places get off.
Best=flexible and remote work schedules; generous vacation (but it is use or lose/does not carry over year to year); each person receives $ for development; 6-8 wk paid sabbatical after 5 years Not the best= no sick leave; low matching 401k (max 5%); no health savings account; small desk space in open office
Generous PTO policy, great healthcare plans, and Metro commuter benefits!
The company was very flexible with interns. We could skip time to attend conferences and other meaningful events.
