The best thing about the benefits package at Golfsmith was the overall comprehensive plan. Health insurance options (vs. 1-size fits all); fair vacation and great onsite driving range.
Great company awesome work environment. We were offered competitive insurance premiums overall fair benefits. Had to wait 30 days for coverage
High premiums, minimal coverage. Overall, I was not impressed with the insurance coverage.
The best thing was a decent amount of paid vacation. The worst thing was a vacation black out period from Thanksgiving until the end of the year. That was not family friendly.
The 401K plan was not supported with employer match.
United Healthcare Insurance. Vendor Contests, and spiffs
The health insurance is good. They offer a 401K plan but company contribution is at the company's discretion and rarely happens.
Benefits not available for part time. Full time benefits used to be ok, but post Obamacare, deductions went up dramatically
I thought the amount charged for a family plan medical was pretty high. Did have an option for in-network or out of network providers. Dental insurance was basically worthless, as it only offered $1000 total pay out.
Higher positions offered better packages.
