Goodwill has excellent benefits! Not only the usual visual, dental, health at a low cost, but they also have preventative and legal programs. They have monthly health tips and lots of ways to improve your life, if you take advantage of programs.
Goodwill switched their PTO policy as off 2018, but did not tell their employees until November of 2017. PTO is now accrued based upon the hours you work and how long you have been with the company. It used to be a base amount of hours given at the beginning of the year based on years with the company. Ex: I believe it was 5 yrs or less equated to 80 hrs PTO, and now if you are under 5 yrs, you accrue it at 1 hr per 20 hrs of work. They do provide a 401K equivalent and have a counselor to help with any facet of life you may want: going back to school, housing, etc.
Healthcare and Dental plans are a good value for fulltime employees. Employer match for 403B is up to 6%; also a good value to fulltime employees.
Best thing about Goodwill were my coworkers. Very professional and well-educated on the functions of their jobs. Management was also responsive and ready to pitch in when needed no matter what the tasks were.
Best part would have to be dental benefit since it is commonly needed but is so expensive out of pocket
Part timers are eligible for Vision and Dental coverage. The vision is decent and the dental is actually quite good. There is also accumulative Paid Time Off, that accumulates per hour you work. Lastly, a 30% employee discount.
Best thing is the pto package of 19 days a year. Bad thing is the insurance is kinda pricey
There is Paid Holidays, Vacation Time. Healthcare options (except for the TJ options) are too expensive, best to apply to Covered CA.
The benefits package is an average package.
insurance benefits are very very high
