Unlimited time off for all employees
GT has now implemented Unilimted PTO. However, I doubt people will use the same or more than they did before. Studies show that Unilimted PTO actually has the reverse effect.
PTO is available and there is an opportunity to take 4 day weeks in the summer which is pretty cool. I never felt pressure not to take the time off when I needed it.
Get approximately 4 weeks off and sick days as senior associate. Seems to be par for industry and better than if you work in corporate accounting.
At associate 17 days paid, at senior 21, at manager 25.
Vacation and sick leave are combined so that's not good but 22 days for a senior is a lot.
For the starting Associate you get 17 days PTO which is accrued at about 5.7 hours per 2-week pay period. Only restriction (for Audit) is that you cannot request PTO during busy season except for emergencies.
We get a good deal of vacation and PTO in addition to Paid Holidays.
You get a lot more paid time off in public accounting than most jobs in private accounting at the same level, mostly due to long hours put in throughout the year
same PTO pool for sick leave and vacation. very difficult to use PTO at all, because you have less time to meet your billable hours (utilization) goals
