High Deductible but has a 401k and roth 401k, allows match past maximum past year for 401k. Match is 100% first 3% then 50% next 3 %. so 4.5%. Received 3% bonus past 4 years plus an additional 3% bonus to our retirement accounts. Steady pay raise annually.
Good work life balance, free annual physical, several opportunities to grow.
The paid time off is nice, it can be used the following year also. The hours are standard. BUT where the whole thing falls apart is that this was supposed to be a family run company by the nicest guy in the world, Carl Lindner. He passes away and his sons now run the company. The main product is Insurance right, and our employee insurance was abysmal. High rates and co-pays. It was not family health insurance, it was catastrophic insurance. If Mr. Carl could see the way the employees are treated with benefits today, he would be ashamed of his sons.
The health insurance is very expensive. They only offer one choice.
health insurance, 401k plan, retirement plan
Matched 401K, generous PTO, high deductible medical insurance, almost-free gym, bonuses
Very generous paid time off
For a company with their size and influence it is shocking their medical plan is so deductible burdened. Technically the medical plan is a mere catastrophic medical policy. An average employee and dependents pays all routine medical expenses. Kinda sad when one learns of the income and perks paid to management.
Worst: They only offer HSA coverage (not bad if you are healthy). Best: Great dental and the HSA has a fairly low deductible for a HSA.
Medical, Dental, Vision, and life insurance. 401k
