The only paid holidays i've encountered are winter related holidays. That's when you get holiday pay, it works differently if you're a part timer but Full timers get 8 hours added to their checks per holiday- Day + what ever hours they've already worked that pay period.

You can only request one holiday off out of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, and New Years and they make you choose which one you want most to least and you may not get your first choice. But, you do get double pay for holidays and if you are a full time employee you can get a paid holiday off.

They pay you time and a half which is nice. But what I didn't know was that part time employees only get 8 hours of holiday pay and if you work more holiday hours then that, its back to regular. Nice, right.
