The majority of the benefits are great! Vacation and 401K matching are good. The only benefit that has been an issue is only having one option for the health plan. However, that changed recently. This year there is an alternative to the single consumer-driven health plan. It is a great alternative and solves the issues with the previous only choice.
Primary plan is a high deductible plan and even if you meet the deductible, you still have to deal with a 20% co-insurance. They recently added a second plan that is still relatively expensive (hardly negotiated down at all for employee families) but has a lower deductible.
They do 401K Matching at the beginning of the calendar year
Free coffee and tea, sometimes they cater lunches for us. 401K is decent, but it's a 50 cent on the dollar match up to 6% so there isn't a great match. Fair amount of PTO. Medical coverage has a higher deductible than most people are comfortable with, but the monthly contribution is very affordable.
Limited options and very expensive compared to most companies this size. High deductible option was as expensive as Obamacare.
401 K match, performance bonus at the end of the year, merit increase annually
High Deductible plan or very expensive PPO option.
The medical plan premiums have not increased in past couple of years, and the company will match HSA contributions.
High deductible plan is too high for families with young children.
Health insurance has gotten better but changes every year. Bonuses and annual raises are hard to come by even when the company is doing well. Low pay compared to the industry.
