Grocers Supply offers a standard two weeks PTO. Basic health insurance, dental and vision. Overall very basic and straightforward benefit package.
Grocers Supply has Great benefits
Had great benefits. It has good benefits now that C&S implemented their plans.
insurance was better before C&S took over. This company no longer matches 401k. Premiums are incredibly high and not worth it.
401k benefits vacation and time off
paid vacation was the best thing i can think of.
Onsite wellness center is great!
Very good insurance covered 80/20 with low deductibles. Company contributes a big portion of employee insurance along with the Family.
When I started, you had to work an entire year before getting ANY vacation. Once you completed a year, it was prorated based on your start date and how far away from January 1st it is. My anniversary date is January 13th, and after my first year, I got 36 hours of vacation. Not even a full week, and I started 2 weeks into the new year! People who start in October - December only get a few hours of vacation after their first year. After 2 full years of employment, you get 1 week of vacation. After 5 years, you get 2 weeks, and after 10 years, you get 2 weeks. 5 years after being hired on, they changed their vacation structure, to get 2 weeks after completing the 90 day probationary period. They are self insured, so no real benefits there. There is a wellness center onsite, but the medical staffing changes like one changes their underwear. The staff at the wellness center have mis-diagnosed many employees, and the employees have ended up at the hospital with much worse conditions than they started with. They told one employee he just had a headache...he actually had a heart attack and almost died. They told another employee that he just had a cold...turns out he has a nasty infection in his hand, and ended up getting his thumb amputated.
Grocers Supply has an excellent benefit package. Affordable weekly deductions. The Benefits department is very helpful. Many online options. On site clinic is great.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
