Benefits are comparable and range on the better side.
Very fair compensation packages for its employees.
They are amazing at controlling costs year over year. Everything you would look for is in their benefit package.
They offer a fairly standard benefit package (the health care was great but the vacation time basic). However, what I greatly appreciated was the opportunity to volunteer with one of their projects a week each year (paid without having to use vacation time).
Currently, Group offers Dental, Medical, Eye, Long term and short term disability, 401K (non-matching), Profit Sharing (based on a very general idea of profit), Vacation, PTO, and Sick. It's all very standard and we have a part-time Benefits resource position for help.
No 401 K matching. OK medical, dental and vision. Below average pay. No educational reimbursement or assistance. Poor communication across the company. Nice people, but too many have been around way too long.
No employer matching on 401K plan. Medical is adequate. Vision and dental standard. No equity opportunity.
No 401k matching. Health benefits middle of the road.
Best: Health insurance coverage; 401K Plan; vacation, personal, and sick days
There is a 401k, but no matching by the company. Time off is pretty reasonable, but being allowed time off is another thing. Group takes advantage of salaried workers, however, and fairly well abuses their time. So getting time off as a salaried person is not very easy. Healthcare benefits are through Kaiser. And Kaiser treats people like numbers. Kaiser frequently did things like asking people to switch prescriptions to something cheaper for Kaiser and then refused to listen when people said they'd already tried those medications. Instead, Kaiser forced people to take the cheaper meds and prove that they didn't work. A lot of other company perks are smoke and mirrors.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
