    The benefits package at the company it is very good, they give good health insurance, back up childcare at a very discounted rate, discounted gym memberships, and much more. They also provide 401k, in which the company matches what you put away.

    For a large employer, so-so benefits. 401K is 6% match +3% extra each year but discretionary and depends on company performance (and has 6 year vesting period). Health Insurance expensive, big push to get you into HSA plan for which they add $1000 to your account each January. Good vacation days (4 or 5 weeks, depending on level) + 6 sick days. Horrible maternity leave - almost nonexistent. you get the standard NY State disability pay for the first 8 weeks which they top up so you get your regular salary (if you've been there long enough - it's a sliding scale) and then it's vacation/sick days. Feels highly unfair as adoption leave is 4 weeks before you have to use your vacation time. Paternity leave 1 week. Standard disability/accident package. Backup care with Bright Horizons 20 days/yr. No other major perks or discounts. slight discount on gym memberships and cell phone (20%?). Free entry to MOMA with employee pass.

    The company offers good PTO from beginning - at least 20 days. Health insurance rates have skyrocketed, but it is a good plan.
