“Good as long as you have a good manger. No set amount of days at a certain level.”
Unlimited PTO policy, 401k match
Pension plan is frozen as of 2020
Guardian offers a great deal for benefits including free std and maternity coverage.
Standard benefits- health insurance and 401k. PTO was a joke, if you're younger and single/no kids, you'll be expected to be working on partial holidays and not take time off, as I was once told "because you don't have a family."
Solid 401k match with additional discretionary match.
Good variety in choices health plans. Generous 401k. Cons: no more pension
Lots of benefits and affordable
Health insurance (qualified HDHPs with HSA & COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS…. Health and pharmacy insurance (includes qualified HSA and HRA, Limited FSA, and Dependent Care FSA.) Dental, vision, life, std and ltd. Voluntary worksite benefits also available. 401(k) with match, in addition to other tax deferred vehicles. Unlimited PTO (exempt only positions).
Benefits are just alright. The health plans are kind of atrocious for an insurance company. There are no PPOs, just high deductible plans and copay plans, one of which is with some no name health insurance company that requires you to use a very small allotment of providers and them ONLY. And the premiums are insanely high. Since guardian has dental insurance offerings, that’s why you get as an employee and if you work here, you know that is NOT a good thing. Guardian dental is NOT good. Unlimited PTO is awesome but honestly wish there was a way to track it or put it in so that it doesn’t get lost with your manager or confusion if your manager is out for an extended period of time. Honestly, they do everything to cheap out and make it “seem” like they have good benefits.
Good benefits at Guardian Life.
