The vacation offer is so only school with only 2 weeks for new hire. Would be great to see this evolved into a more competitive offering like other silicon valley companies.

No questions asked. 3 weeks off is pretty standard to start. 5 sick days and volunteer days off are included on top of this.

Who doesn't want more time off. :) However i do feel 3 weeks of vacation is fair. I wish there were more PTO days.

PTO accruals are average, if not a little below average. However, they also give a separate set of Sick Days. All together it ends up being above average.

PTO is good if you are employed for long

StarStarStarStarStar Current Software Engineer in Foster City, California

It staggered so that it takes 2 years to get more than 15 days. After 4 years, it is 20 days. There is a forced shutdown during the Christmas as New Year holiday and this means losing three days or more, so that 15 is really 12 or 11 days. Sick days are separate and employees get 5 days.
