GC offers paid time off. Not sure what else I can say. You have to be full time to get it, and it is distributed based on hours worked, but if you are a Lead Customer Service Associate, you are automatically full time.

One paid 5 day vacation a year. Definitely wish they included more days based on tenure but after 5 years my vacation time remained about the same.

Vacation caps out at 3 weeks - no other paid time off. Whole month of December and Thanksgiving are blackout periods. Guitar Center hates family.

Basic vacation time accruals no big deal.

Never used paid time off yet, I just know they offer it.

Full time employees can accrue paid time off fairly quickly.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Sales Associate in Fairfax, Virginia

It takes a while to accrue vacation and sick time off. There are certain dates which employees are unable to take vacation time from Thanksgiving through New Years. It makes spending time with family during the holidays fairly difficult.

It took forever to acrue and actually being allowed to take the time off is next to impossible without feeling terribly guilty about it.
