benefits could be better. They are comparable to other companies I have worked for.
I’ll first start by saying that I love working for HHS. My managers are awesome, work/life balance is excellent, and opportunity for advancement is definitely there. I’m writing this review because I’m relocating and it has been a nightmare for my family. Financially it doesn’t make sense. The only thing of significance being covered is the transportation of my household items from current location to the new location. I live in a fully furnished home, not an apartment, and loading/unloading of my items is not included in my relo package. I’m a woman! My husband works 80 hours a week, who is going to help me load/unload? This is costing my family $2000 out of pocket which is not very affordable for us. Not to mention that the relocation process is not up to par. I feel there should be a relocation consultant assigned to each case, someone who is going to communicate with you in a timely manner as well as handle the relocation from beginning to end. My manager should not have to contact the relo office just so I can get a response to my emails and voicemails. Moving is already a worrisome ordeal, but adding uncertainty, and expensive costs makes it even worse. I know that it will all work out in the end, I’m just frustrated right now.

The company matches 50% up to 7% of your income within the 401(k)
Benefits are too expensive to even get. Will take a huge cut from pay to have any benefits from this company.
