Pros: Great pay, plenty of PTO (vacation pay), the insurance is great and low monthly fees. Two bonuses a year, FMLA coverage, great environment. Three in house cafeterias, two in house hospitals, Ann and a gym.
Insurance has changed drastically. It used to be the best of the best, but every year it becomes even worse with more things to do just to retain benefits.
Best benefits I ever had.
Great health insurance included in compensation for almost no cost. Average 401k. Terrible vacation flexibility; cannot get off for doctor/dentist.
Cheap insurance and great 401k
7% 401K match, two weeks paid time off during shutdowns that does not count towards PTO.
Company matches up to 6% in your 401k. Amazing insurance, covers health dental and eyes You must have 2 preventitives a year but you can use all 6 they are all free, they include 2 teeth cleanings, 2 eye exams, and 2 physicals They also offer a legal coverage, to help if you ever need an attorney
The benefits package is very good. They offer Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance with a very low deductible and reasonable co-pay. They offer free Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability benefits and matching 401K. They offer paid vacation and PTO. PTO increases by one day for each year of service. The only thing I didn't agree with was having to do two required preventative healthcare visits a year to maintain you preferred healthcare cost rate.
Best: Salary continuance for up to 6 months for exempt associates, in the event of a non-work related injury or illness. Worst: Associate purchase program is sometimes worse than what can be negotiated at a dealer lot.
As a co-op we were not eligible for most benefits. We had 2 days we could take off, but they were understanding about sick days or if you have to go to school to do something. The time off was not paid.
