Vacation time improves the longer your years at Habitat. Unfortunately the actual is based on calendar yesterday starting January 1 instead of your start date. So if you started on January 20, you'll have to wait an extra 11 months for the next you're off vacation benefits to kick in compared to someone who started December 15.

Plenty of vacation time, but difficult to balance full weeks of vacation with workload

  • May 04, 2017

The best part is Mission Leave, paid time off to go build in any country Habitat serves. Up to 2 weeks.

21 days vacation combined with sick leave and no distinction among what type of days.

  • Apr 20, 2016
StarStarStarStarStar Former Family Services Coordinator in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

It was all good. I was never denied any time off.

  • Mar 21, 2016
StarStarStarStarStar Former Employee in Atlanta, Georgia

One of the best vacation and paid time off options I've had since I started working

  • Dec 08, 2015
StarStarStarStarStar Current Assistant Manager in Cookeville, Tennessee

You get up to 2 weeks of paid vacation after 2 years. Paid time off is for holidays only. It was okay, at best. However, they do take care of their employees when necessary. (Sick days are a plus.)
